John Harty is a trusted leadership advisor with extensive experience in CEO succession, board advisory, senior executive search and leadership development mandates. Over nearly a decade with Spencer Stuart and Korn Ferry, he advised listed companies, financial institutions, private equity-backed businesses, professional services firms, and family enterprises across Ireland, the UK and internationally. His work also involved leading global accounts across several continents.
His work focuses on helping organisations make sound, confident leadership decisions – grounded in evidence, insight, and a deep understanding of people and culture. He brings a measured, thoughtful approach to complex leadership challenges, informed by years of working with boards, chairs, CEOs, and investors.
Before entering global search, John spent 13 years in the family’s executive search business, following in the footsteps of his father, John Harty Snr. This foundation installed the importance of trust, discretion, and long-term relationships – values that continue to shape the firm today.
